About BSCF

Our History

Big Sky Christian Fellowship (BSCF) is a small non-denominational church in Big Sky, Montana. In 1977, three local families had the vision and passion to start a local church in this small resort town. Since then, BSCF has become a vibrant expression of Christian faith as the only evangelical church in town. BSCF is known for great worship, active bible studies, small groups, young adult ministry and deep love for one another. We are financially stable congregation that worships in the Big Sky Chapel shared by 3 congregations. We currently worship at 4:30 in the evening each Sunday. We are comprised of a multigeneration core of local residents, seasonal residents, and visitors. We are poised for future growth and are excited to build deeper connection within our church, engage the Big Sky community at large, and nurture the next generation in faith. We are excited for our next season of, “Passionately Following Jesus Together.”

Core Beliefs

  • We believe the Bible to be inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

  • We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost:  they are saved unto the resurrection of life and they are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
